Originally from New Zealand, I now live with my lovely wife in Türkiye.
Having started off in the corporate world, these days, I work for myself. As well as running the listener, I also help people develop their English language abilities at mh English.
I enjoy nature and spending time with animals. Of course, I love spending time with my wife too!

This is not a place for people with genuine mental health issues. I am not a medical professional.
Who is the listener?
That's me. I'm just like you. I've been through some experiences and come through some of them whilst still working through others. No one is perfect.
Why are you doing this?
Chatting with someone helps you to become less stressed, enjoy life more and realise that you are not alone. It can also have a spin-off effect on your relationships, health, career and whatever goals you wish to accomplish.
How much does it cost?
That's entirely up to you.
One of the main reasons why I set up the listener is that there are many services that are only available to the wealthy or people living below the poverty line. There's a massive number of people caught in the middle who don't have easy access to support services.
Thus, the amount you pay is your choice.

How can I be totally anonymous?
Two simple steps will hide your identity if this is preferable for you:

How long can we talk?
One session is 20 minutes which can be extended for another 20 minutes. However, to be honest with you, I'm very flexible about time. It depends more on what you want to do.
